Our first competition was a very close debate between two budding female tennis stars. On one hand, we have the classic Sharapova, found in many a Canon commercial. The fact that she's not just a tennis star, that she's an icon, is a big plus. However, she has only won $12 million in her career as opposed to Mauresmo, who has won $13 million. Also, while Maria is barely 21 (Mauresmo is 29) and has been rated Maxim's hottest female athlete four years in a row, Mauresmo is a lesbian from France. And she's not a lesbian in a bad way; she's very feminine and discreet about it. So the decision was very difficult, but in the end, Amelie Mauresmo is hotter.

I guess if you're into armpit hair and anti-American sentiment, Mauresmo would be a good choice. I'd be willing to "share" with Sharapova. Nice breakdown though. I like the entire idea behind this blog. Good work!
